The Asset Partnership undertakes a large range of projects in the field of Physical Asset Management.
These projects generally involve a number of discrete phases designed to move your organisation from ‘exploration’ through to ‘commitment’ to new ways of working – new ways which achieve improved throughput, reduced unit cost and reduced operational risks.
Typically, the four phases cover:
Value assessment
We work with your people to agree gaps between existing and desired levels of performance and the impact of this gap on the bottom line. The value assessment phase concludes with a business case for change and a plan for its execution.
Quick wins and systems development
Achieving change is made much easier when staff see results being achieved early in the project. Our policy of implementing quick wins early is combined with the development of systems which provide a clear indication of how performance is being improved and progress is achieved towards the agreed project objective.
Extend performance management
Once new working methods are proven, we work with you to extend these into standard operating and maintenance procedures and to present performance appropriately to each level in the organisation.
Embed, sustain and improve
To ensure that the hard work undertaken during the project is not dissipated, we work with you to put in place a continuous improvement culture. Our consultants have the necessary experience to take full account of any improvement initiatives already in place (such as six sigma, LEAN, TPM) and to work seamlessly with your teams.
The results are evident through our Case Studies.
